WORK WITH US TO CREATE YOUR VERY OWN BESPOKE WEDDING STATIONERY
Graphic Cycling Celebration
We loved working with Cara & Dan to create the wedding stationery for their beautiful wedding celebration. We incorporated their passion for cycling with deco style font and graphic block illustrations. With a fun portrait of the couple on a tandem bike and contemporary florals we helped these guys create the vision for their wedding decor including invitations, rsvp cards, information cards, wedding day signs menus and a vintage penny farthing table plan.
We created this suite of bespoke wedding stationery for awesome couple Heather & Chris including a portrait of them and their lovely pup Iris, a custom illustrated floral pattern, signage for the big day and a table plan featuring hand drawn herbs to coordinate with their table names.
For inspiration Heather sent us photographs of the style of her bouquet, it was wonderful to create a personalised pattern for the couple based on the florals that featured on the big day!
Alex and Rachel asked us to design their very own contemporary monogram to celebrate their lives coming together. Their wedding was filled with plenty of natural greens, blush pastels and a touch a gold for added glamour. We created this simple yet luxurious suite of bespoke stationery with gold envelopes for this awesome couple who tie the knot in a few months time.
Sara & Sarah asked us to create their bespoke wedding stationery inspired by the classic Arthur Ransome children’s book ‘Swallows and Amazons’ for their seaside Salcombe wedding. We designed a map style invitation, pennant table plans, wedding signage, sail place settings and more all with an illustrated pirate twist. A mix of hand painted and digital drawings gave this celebration a modern twist fit for these creative brides.
For Moya and Stuart we created not one, but two styles of invitation. A postcard style invite for their close family and friends attending their beach wedding in Aruba, and a sophisticated design featuring hand lettering for their celebration back in the UK.
Claire and Ollie pulled out all the stops with a personal celebration in their home town of Torquay. Inspired by the British seaside, classic fashion of the 1950s and colourful, retro railway posters, we created a suite of stationery including Save the Date post cards, invitations, wedding day signage.
We illustrated not one but two wedding invitations featuring a daytime scene for guests attending the full wedding, and the same portrait of the couple, only this time at dusk, for their evening reception guests; both with names in hand painted lettering. See more from Claire and Ollie's wedding day here.
Chris & Sarah initially asked us to illustrate a bespoke portrait of them and their little girl for their Save the Date cards. A few months later for the big day we helped them celebrate their wedding in style with invitations, RSVP cards, table numbers, place settings and more featuring a hand painted monogram, leafy illustrations and clean typography.
Becky and Jeremy planned a glamorous destination wedding on the island of Rhodes and wanted personalised wedding stationery that reflected their love of travel. We wanted to give them modern a look that felt like their very own airline (if you look closely you'll see stamps that represent each country Becky and Jeremy have visited together).
The Groom Jeremy is actually Abi's big brother and as an added touch to celebrate both families coming together we also incorporated photographs of the couple's parents on their wedding day over 30 years ago.
Michael and Sophie asked us to design the invitations, menus and place settings for their London wedding. They sent us inspiration from their favourite mid century graphic design and we emulated the block shapes and textured quality to create in this chic illustration.
They wanted to keep clear of anything too twee and so we traded the usual florals for an abstract city scape and incorporated a lamppost motif inspired by the reclaimed light fixtures at their cool, retro restaurant venue.
They loved the final design so much that they also asked us to send them a large print of the illustration we created for their home.
Manjil & Bradley wanted edgy, bright stationery to match their eclectic, fun wedding day. They came to us with the idea of using this hot pink and orange ombre gradient throughout their designs.
We loved working with them to create a modern collection featuring screenprinted poster invite and cool white text. We also incorporated a line drawing of the New York skyline to represent the view from their rooftop loft venue. See more from Manjil & Brad's wedding day here.
Back in September 2017 we, Dearly Beloved, tied the knot! It was such as joyful process planning our big day but we would lying if we said that it wasn't a little nerve wracking deciding on what style of stationery to create for our wedding. We wanted to follow our own advice and create artwork that we felt represented us as a teaser of our overall celebration; it turns out once we decided on colour scheme and our little birds illustration everything else fell into place.
The autumnal colour scheme included copper foil and plenty of mustard, orange and gold, and with our illustrated birds making frequent appearances across the suite all our visuals had an element of fun.
One thing we knew is that it was really important for us to collaborate, Ben created the overall mid century inspired graphics and then Abi re-created Ben's floral motif in her signature brush pen along with some hand painted lettering for the wedding day signage.
We decided it really wasn't too important to us that everything matched perfectly (we're not a perfect kinda couple) but more that our stationery suited the historic, rustic and "a little rough around the edges" feel of the space we were all set to be married in.
Mike and Ellen really wanted to incorporate a fun portrait into their wedding stationery; as they were getting married on a beautiful farm in Cornwall the colour scheme was neutral creams and greens with a pop of Cornflower Blue, Ellen's favourite flower.
We hand painted lettering for their table plan, place settings, signage, menus and table numbers and added subtle floating painted confetti detail. See more from Mike & Ellen's wedding day here.
All our bespoke designs start with a conversation and a sketch. As experienced designers interpreting your wedding day into beautiful visuals is what we do best. FAQs
We enjoy celebrating the start of our clients’ life together by creating something personal to them, by sending us chosen details such as your favourite poem or a photo of your venue and we can represent you as couple on paper.
