Relaxed yet decadent, Art Deco wedding inspiration

We are so excited to finally share these stunning photos from Margo R Photography’s latest styled shoot. This is Great Gatsby but not as you’ve imagined it before; the team created a beautiful look inspired by the classic 1920s styles we know and love but with a relaxed vibe perfect for modern couples.

Here’s what Margo had to say… “I wanted to create something different and unique, using a style that I love – one that is darker than the classical wedding – yet alternative, elegant & glamourous. So, I moved away from conventional whites, creams, reds and pinks. I chose the colour Gold to have the starring role… associated with… sparkle, glitz and glamour.”

For couples that want to ditch the ballroom suite in favour of a good old fashioned knees up booking a pub as a wedding reception venue is the perfect choice (and it’s easy on the bank balance too). With just a few details Margo and this team of talented suppliers transformed their favourite local pub, community arts hub Bread and Roses, into a reception venue with vintage charm.

These navy and gold wedding invitations were originally designed for Laura and James’ wedding day, featuring a gramophone illustration and sleek deco fonts it’s one of our favourite to date. Get in touch to talk about what we could design for your wedding day.

The gold dress from Missguided is a great alternative for brides who don’t want to splash out on a dress they may never wear again - sequinned, sultry and no less special.
